Open Letter to Idaho Chiropractors
Dear Doctor,

I would like to use this letter to reach out and ask for your help as a Chiropractic physician of good‐standing in the State of Idaho. The IACP needs you.

Dr. Jon Gray, IACP President has been the driving force behind the present growth and development of this organization, and as a Board, we are making an appreciable dent in the problems that face our profession in this State. The IACP Board is eclectic in nature, and that diversity is our strength. We are a cohesive group, working hard together to accomplish the goals of the IACP Membership.

Dr. Gray feels very strongly that the IACP should be “value‐driven”. For our Members, this means transparency of the Associations’ activities and expenditures; increased communication with the Membership via a web‐based interactive office and chat rooms; increased aid to the physicians and their staff regarding all issues concerning our profession.

Dr. Gray and the Board have committed to the promotion of Chiropractic health care before the legislature and other government officials in an effort to ensure the future viability of our individual practices, the Chiropractic industry at large, and for the better health of all Idahoans. If you have read the monthly IACP newsletter, you will be aware of these changes.

The 2009 IACP Annual Convention in Boise was a spectacular success for the Speakers, attending physicians and the Vendors. In 2010, we will be holding our convention at the Coeur d’Alene Resort. We will be presenting 18 hours of continuing education; 15 of those hours will be dual licensure for Acupuncture and Chiropractic, the remaining 3 for Chiropractic alone. To support our Doctors in this difficult economy, the IACP will be offering the full annual Chiropractic requirement of 18 hours for what the physician spent last year for 12. In addition, we also offer 6 hours of Continuing Education throughout the year at the District meetings.

I could go on and on, but the bottom line is this: Doctor, the IACP wants and needs your help. We need your thoughts, your strength, and your fire.

Please call if you have any questions regarding what is going on. Please don’t just disregard this call for support. Please don’t let past issues interfere with our future possibilities. We look forward to talking with you soon.

Yours in health, respect and collegial friendship,

The IACP Board of Directors
