As some of you may know, Regence BlueShield recently decided that it will no longer be reimbursing for physiotherapy modalities (PT codes) when rendered by chiropractic physicians. This change has the potential to devastate many DC practices in Idaho. We are actively working to push back on this policy change.

We are asking IACP members to do two things:

• First, contact Regence to push back against this policy change. They need to hear from as many DCs as possible so that they understand the extent of the problem that they have created.
• Second, file a complaint with the Idaho Insurance Commissioner at https://doi.idaho.gov/consumers/file-a-complaint/.
